Building a capital stack for a housing project can be daunting. Jolene can assist with securing interim and permanent housing development funding. She is experienced in building capital stacks for single family and multifamily housing projects. In addition, she reviewed and underwrote housing development loans during her time working at the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, so she is familiar with lending practices and paperwork requirements.

Loan/Grant Compliance

During construction, lenders and grantors will ask for progress reports. Jolene has extensive experience filling out necessary construction reports for funders, including the City of Austin, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, the Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation, the Federal Home Loan Bank, and private grantors.

Program Audit Oversight

Most funders want to conduct yearly inspections of the housing, and will ask for a site visit as well as a sample of the income verification materials for clients. Jolene will assist with this in all stages of housing development, from construction to post-completion.

Jolene has developed housing programs that have become national models for their kind. She can assist your company to create a tenant selection plan that complies with funder requirements, and assist your program staff with verifying income and rent requirements after lease-up.
